At the beginning of January, the novel Coronavirus- COVID-19 was first identified in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in China, and the outbreak has escalated quickly since then at a global level.
On 11th of March, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Coronavirus outbreak a Pandemic. In line with national and local authorities’ guidance, ATAG, part of Ariston Thermo Group, is following the evolution about the Coronavirus outbreak with great attention.
The Group is closely monitoring the situation to ensure full compliance to Government requirements and to guarantee the health of all the employees, contractors, customers and suppliers as the utmost priority is their safety and wellbeing.
In the offices and plants located in the areas hit by the COVID-19 emergency, several measures have been already implemented including the respect of hygiene and safety distance rules, the sanitisation of environments and smart working where possible.
Until today, our manufacturing facilities have been working at close to normal level of production; although it could be that as the situation progresses, we are unable to warrant the continuation of this normal level. Our teams are following the supply chain developments closely, and will work to keep you informed on any potential delivery issues.
Our brand mission, to focus on delivering a first class service to all ATAG consumers, is even more significant during this uncertain time.
Unless circumstances beyond our control prevent us from doing so, we expect that our customer service and field sales will continue to work hard every day to maintain these high service levels to support our customer base, and that our service technicians are also available to help you and all end-users with an ATAG heating system in need of repair.
